Workplace Emergency First Aid in BC

WCB in British Columbia recognizes Canadian Red Cross WEFA

Canadian Red Cross First Aid Services is pleased to announce that the Workers’ Compensation Board of BC has granted equivalency to the Red Cross Workplace Emergency First Aid (WEFA) course. WEFA is now considered equivalent to the Occupational First Aid Level 1 certificate.

The Red Cross Workplace Emergency First Aid program is a modified version of the national Emergency First Aid course, designed to meet the needs of BC workplaces.

Employers wishing to access Red Cross first aid training for their employees are invited to contact Red Cross directly for information about courses in your area.
